I am a child of God

Forever in His keeps

His eye on the sparrow

Because He never sleeps

I am a child of God

The Bible tells me so

And I truly need Him

In Him I must grow

I am a child of God

I don’t just do the talk

 I must follow and obey

In the steps He walked

I am a child of God

Trusting on in faith

My confidence in Him

sufficient is His grace

I am a child of God

In His death raised

I walk not in darkness

I have the light of day

I am a child of God

 before time begun

And all the glory goes

To God’s begotten Son

I am God’s child 

of royal birth

My Father is king

of heaven and earth

All who seek Christ

None will He cast out

His word is faithful

Trust and have no doubt
