If you live in London and the surrounding areas, you are advised to stay home, Storm Eunice is erupting fast and the winds are deadly, a personal experience I was out in it early this morning and I was literally blown to the point where I could see the dangerous aspects of all, forceful winds just pushing me far, a small journey took so.. long in weather like that you could easily get breathless, so have to brace for impact, imagine being pushed forward so hard that at that point if you could fly… there you have it… The best way I can describe the Storm Eunice feeling that I experienced, it’s no doubt different for many others.
I’m thankful that I reached home safely, and as I hear police and emergency services more than ever today, there are no lasting effects, it is however still such a devastating day for many people, who now have injuries from accidents, and the extensive damages, so I ask us all to pray for many people hurting, in pain and struggling today.
Never has a storm meant that things ground to a halt and it’s not business as usual, trees may come down and debris in some, in several areas mainly outside of London the effects hits worse.
Today schools are closed and business services inactive, I have recently heard that a part of the roof of O2 Arena in Greenwich has been blown off, the army has been on standby all morning.
