Jillian Danford aka Auntie Jillian is celebrating alongside her husband Warren aka Uncle Warren and children Myles and Milan, their well deserved success of being the first ever black family to have a Reality TV Show on a Canadian network. You will adore this beautiful family they have such a positive energy, and appear genuine, relatable and entertaining on our screens, they are a great example of Black Excellence!
Jillian, Warren, Myles and Milan from Ajax Ontario are International Online Stars And Social Media Influencers, In 2017 their first debut (Season One) of their TV Show gained amazingly over 22,000 viewers on Bell Fibe TV 1. Jillian is also the Associate Producer of their TV Show: Auntie Jillian and as a family they are in partnership with Bell Fibe TV1, whilst they also maintain intellectual property rights of their TV show which is very impressive.

Jillian is originally from Trinidad and Warren is originally from Jamaica, they raised their children Myles and Milan who complete their Caribbean household in Canada. In her interview with Bill Harris Special to The Lede. Jillian said: I’m from Trinidad, Warren is from Jamaica, but we have these Canadian kids!” She also added “I’ll think that things should be done a certain way, and Warren thinks another way, and the kids will just look at us both and say, that’s not the way we do things here in Canada” Jillian is also the Aunt of Latoya Forever the famous Social Media Influencer and Business Woman. Latoya is very close to her Auntie Jillian, many of us viewers were introduced to her when she appeared on Latoya’s entertaining YouTube Channel alongside the rest of their family. Jillian was instantly adored also, although Latoya created a YouTube Channel for her aunt back in 2014, even without a video uploaded on to her channel yet, Jillian received over 11,000 subscribers who waited in anticipation for her videos which speaks volumes and why it’s no surprise that the family is successful as a whole.
Fans and viewers of their Lifestyle and Reality YouTube Channel: Auntie Jillian all know that the words “luvlies” affectionately refers to them and the cool phrase from Jillian: It’s A Real Ting! just sums up how realistic and relatable they all are. Jillian is so likeable, positively strong and down to earth, together they are all fun, hilarious and entertaining to watch. If you’ve seen Milan’s driving lesson. Warren getting waxed, Myles prank on his mum, Jillian’s story times, and literally every video she uploads being priceless, regardless if it’s with her warm-hearted parents or extended family and friends, you’ll keep tuning in every time to watch their vlogs, vacations, parties etc.. What a decent, authentic and genuine family.
If Jillian’s face looks familiar to you it’s because she is known to public as an Actress and TV Host, she has appeared in National Commercials and steadily works in the Broadcast Media Industry. In 2014, Jillian was cast in the popular Documentary Fear Thy Neighbour which was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award for the Best Direction in a Documentary Series. around the same time she was also a Lifetime On-Air Product and Digital Expert with the Shopping Channel JD Marketing for a year. In 2018, Jillian appeared in the TV Series Haunted Hospital.
Jillian is also a Public Speaker, Advocate and Mentor as she motivates, educated and empowers youth through Government programs in Schools, being used to working in Court rooms as a Paralegal and Legsl Administrative Assistant, makes her the ideal Guest Contributor regularly on CTV News (Mind The Gap) that she regularly appears on, being knowledgable in Marketing and Brand Management. Jillian is also a Brand Ambassador for several companies which include Porsche, Up North Naturals, Passions Carnival, Trinidad Tourism and Jamaican Tourism Boards, Candy Crush, Hot Miami Style and Passions Carnival. Warren knows all about Financial Planning, Investment Solutions and Wealth Management, because he is an Investment Adviser at a reputable company for over 8 years, he is also successful at Business and a highly rated Chef, Warren makes most of the Caribbean dishes and other meals that we see sizzling in the pot, on the barbecue grill or on the dinner table for their guests to enjoy on their Auntie Jillian YouTube Channel and their TV Show. Warren created the amazing FNG Hot Sauce! their son Myles is a Business Technology and Marketing Graduate, he works and also alongside his dad with promoting and selling their FNG Hot Sauce. Milan the youngest member of the family is brilliant at Football, recently she launched Milan’s Vault her own line of Beauty Products. The Danford family all appeared on two episodes of CBC Family Feud Canada alongside Crystal a family friend earlier this year, who knows what other TV projects that they may have lined up in the near future.
Congratulations to Jillian and her whole family I am so proud of them, it’s amazing and refreshing to see the Danford Family portray what it’s like to live in a Caribbean household with a Canadian twist in a positive light. Jillian and her family are an Online Sensation they have captured the essence through their Vlogs and TV Show. I can fully relate I’m from a Caribbean household also, hopefully the Aunty Jillian TV Show will be broadcasted in the UK and all over the world in due time.
