Lockdown Life in The UK
It has been over 2 months since we’ve been in lockdown, this Monday was the first vital step forward to opening our door and venturing outside, some lockdown measures are still in place, but slowly and surely we will get used to the set guidelines that are outlined on how to proceed with the important things that we need to do in our life..
Lockdown Measures / Abide With Guidance
At this point we can meet up with another household, or in a group which is known as a support bubble, entering outside it has been advised to not be around more than 6 people, and to stand 2 metres apart.
Local Transport / Buses, Tubes, Trains
Social distance queuing has already been set in place in most grocery supermarkets, shops, and most businesses who have their own set rules, but it will be rolled out on buses, tubes and trains where it’s now mandatory to wear a face mask.
Work / Businesses, Schools, Departments
Many businesses promptly arranged for their staff to work remotely / from home until further notice, NHS workers who work in hospitals and frontline staff continued to work throughout this pandemic with no breaks. Unique Vibes Reports: Clap For our Carers – Millions In The U.K Applauded NHS + Frontline Staff This week some primary schools have reopened with set guidelines for their pupils, but in September the new term begins and all pupils will be required to return to school. It is still not known as yet whether university students will be able to return to classes, or if they will study online instead.
Social distancing measures need to be put in place before restaurant, pubs, cinemas, theatres, hotels, hairdressers, barbers etc.. they are all expected to be open on 4th July.
