Unique Vibes: Every Wednesday!
Latest News in London – Lockdown Life
Annemarie Plas the architect of the Clap For Our Carers Campaign, who ignited the public gesture every Thursday at 8pm, has made the decision to broadcast the message for everyone to stop cheering clapping, wolfwhistles, fireworks etc… It’s our 10th week since it started in March through the beginning stages of lockdown.
Annemarie has been reported as saying to the PA News Agency: “I think it’s good to have the last of the series on Thursday, because to have the most impact I think it is good to stop it at its peak, without getting too political, I share some of the opinions that some people have about it becoming politicised. I think the narrative is starting to change and I don’t want the clap to be negative.”
Clap For Our Carers motto is: A round Of Applause Around The Country. Next year on Thursday 25th March 2021 it will be: ‘National Clap For Our Carers Day’ You can find out more information here at: Clap For Our Carers
