The Clap For Our Carers Campaign is still going strong! It doesn’t matter what you’re doing, at 8pm on Thursday, expect to hear loud cheering, instruments, wolf whistling whilst everyone is clapping, it gets louder and more vibrant each week, from fireworks again this week to instruments and cars beeping their horns as they pass by. Imagine a carnival vibe but when you look outside there is hardly anyone outside, but the voices and sounds of many is vibrant, strong with high spirits, you have to be there to hear that amount of cheers and applause that start at 8pm prompt and finishes around 8.05pm.
What a great way to keep the encouragement, support and high spirits to all NHS + Frontline Staff through these pandemic times, the UK status will be at alert 4 level very soon. The Clap For Our Campaign started at 8pm on Thursday 26th March 2020.
It would be great if clapping for our careurs continued after this pandemic, the unified feeling and ambience at 8pm on Thursday is indescribable and hopefully it’s here to stay.
