Spike Lee was hired by Levi’s in 1990, to direct TV Commercials for the 501 button-fly jeans, he has also directed TV Commercials for Jaguar, Converse, Ben & Jerry’s and Taco Bell. Spike Lee is amazing at what he does, it comes as no surprise that he was offered to direct TV Commercials for Nike, their Marketing Executives made contact after linking that Mars Blackmon, a character Spike Lee plays in his film, was a big fan of the Iconic Athlete Michael Jordan, he greatly admired him, the Marketing campaign was a success for the Spike and the Air Jordan line.
